I love cables. Fancy cables. Plain cables. Cable Owls! When I saw knit cable skulls, I knew I had to make something with a crochet cable skull.
So here is my take on cable skulls. It’s the Skull Bag.

This PDF pattern is 21 pages long. Yes, 21! I’ve included step-by-step photo instructions to help you. There is also my version of a chart if you find it easier to work from.

I would rate this pattern as intermediate or advanced, it is definitely not for beginners(unless you like a good challenge).

You will need 12 ozs of light weight yarn (#3). I used “Loops and Threads Snuggly Wuggly” in “Soft Gray”. You will also need a 4.0mm/G hook.
