A simple-but-effective pattern, perfect for road trips, TV-watching, and other slightly distracting situations. The ribbing changes halfway through, so you can turn them down or leave them up for textural interest. I made mine long enough to have a couple of inches to turn over the tops of my boots, and knitted them mostly in waiting rooms and while sitting up with a determinedly nocturnal newborn - they held my interest, but were easy to keep track of.

The smaller size is photographed on my almost-two year old, but they fit as thigh-highs on my 2 month old - it just depends on how chubby their legs are.

The larger size is written for a 14” leg circumference, but the pattern is easy to adjust.
