This little mouse is perfect for soothing anxiety after a restless, stressful year. Fast asleep, nothing troubles mouse except for when the next snack might appear.
Throughout this pattern you are working with 2 strands of yarn held together, the mohair yarn provides subtle shading in areas where a complete colour change might be too stark. If you are intending to felt your knitted mouse (like the one shown) then please make sure your yarns have a high percentage of natural fibre. Synthetic/acrylic fibres will not felt no matter how much you try!

To make the mouse you will need:
2.75mm / US 2 double pointed needles or a short circular needle of the same size
oddments of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn in cream and pink as well as oddments of white and pink lace-weight mohair (these must be 90% natural fibre as they need to be felted at the end, acrylic will not work for this)
embroidery thread or scraps of black thread for working eye details and white thread for the whiskers
woollen stuffing
tapestry needle and a sharp, fine sewing needle
