Slipt Vertical

Playing with colour and texture can really make your yarn shine, reverse stocking stitch is a great backdrop for a bold statement … but seriously, who wants to spend ages purling when they could just knit instead?

If that sounds like you, this hat will make you heart sing. Cleverly worked inside out you get the best of both worlds, easy breezy knit stitches and the perfect reverse stocking stitch canvas for your slipped stitch feature.

This monotone variegated yarn is the ideal companion to the slipped stitch columns that march up the side of this spectacular hat. A subtle slouch means you can pull the brim right down over your ears – warm and stylish, the perfect combo (no one needs cold ears).

Worked from the brim to crown this hat features a twisted rib brim that flows effortlessly into the slipped stitch columns. The crown is rapidly decreased to accentuate the slouch. The length of this hat is fairly easy to adjust to suit your personal preferences and with seven sizes everyone can step out in cosy style this winter.
