This Butterfly applique is very easy and is highly recommended for the beginner crocheters. Great to decorate baby’s and children’s clothes and all the beach, spring and summer themed outfits! :)
The butterfly starts from the center and is similar to the crochet flower - the wings and tentacles are instead of the petals. I included the pictures of every step of the process so it will be easy for you to follow the pattern.
The approximate size of a ready butterfly applique is 2 1/4 inches by 2 inches (6 cm by 5 cm). If you use smaller crochet hook the butterfly applique will be smaller.
