ENGLISH PATTERN

The diagonal cables on the back of the hand don’t just look good; they also make the fabric warmer and more windproof. The palms are worked in stocking stitch and added thumb gussets result in a better fit.
A very practical accessory – not only for those, who have to smoke outdoors.

50 g of yarn in fingering weight/sock yarn are easily enough for a pair of mittens.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 22 rows = 2 x 2 inches (5 x 5 cm) in stockinette stitch on needle size US 1 1/2 (2.5 mm)

The back of both hands and the palms are shown in charts, with added explanations.
