I like to have my hands uncovered in the winter, but find I get cold much more quickly if the chill can get in up my sleeves. These toasty wrist warmers are perfect for keeping your hands warm but your fingers free: useful for shopping, driving, writing or knitting.

In Faroese, “labbar” means paws, but it is also the word used in my boyfriend’s family for wrist warmers. “Snar” is the Faroese for cables, but it is also a very common name for a dog. I love the duality that is created in this context!
