SHAPE: This is a crescent shawl, worked from the bottom up.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner, introduction to lace knitting, pattern easily memorable.

YARN: I think this pattern is better suited for solid or tonal colorways. Howecver, a lightly variegated colorway might be okay as well.

BEADS: (Optional) Size 6/0 Total of 460 beads.
(Beading wire method/crochet hook method. Beads were not prestrung.) If doing beads and want lace feature accented, a double YO should be performed. Bead placement is optional and was used by one of the test knitters by placing the beads on the icicle yarn overs on the WS of the work.

If you are a loose knitter, please account for yardage on the high end of recommendations.
