This is my version of a knitted sock monkey.

I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn for this monkey pattern, (which is not readily available anymore), and size 6 needles, and is knit flat and will be seamed up. The finished sock monkey sits approximately 20 inches high not including his legs.

A great replacement yarn to use would be Vanna’s Choice, also by Lion Brand. It’s acrylic, but it’s really soft and knits up really well.
