There is a misprint in the written instructions, for row 3. If you look at the chart it should be k1, yo, k2, sl1-k2tog-psso, k2, yo. This should give you 8 stitch repeats. I will update the written instructions as soon as possible!

Named for the song “Song for a Winter’s Night”, one of my favorite winter-ish (but not really holiday) songs by Sarah Mclachlan. They don’t look wintery, but they warm the feet and remind the wearer that spring is just around the corner!
