This hoodlet is worked seamlessly from the top down through the clever use of Judy’s Magic Cast On, and calls for a single skein of fingering weight yarn knit doubled on large needles.
Materials
- Approximately 375 yards fingering weight yarn; sample shown in Spud & Chloë Fine (80% Wool, 20% Silk; 248 yards per 65 gram skein); color: 7805; 2 skeins
- US 8/5 mm 32 inch circular needle
- Cable needle
- Stitch holder
- 2 stitch markers
- Scissors
- Large eyed, blunt needle
- Small red pompom, purchased or made from scrap yarn
- 1 1/3 yard double faced satin ribbon (optional for ties)
Gauge
19 sts/24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
