DESIGN INFORMATION
Solitude is a long cardigan worked in Stockinette stitch, featuring a simple lace panel that flows over the drop shoulders and down the body. The fronts and back are worked from the top down, back & forth in rows, and seamed after all pieces have been knit. The top-down construction allows for easy customization of the cardigan’s length to suit your style preference (note: any change in length will change your yardage requirements). The sleeves are worked from the cuff to the upper arm.

The sample is knit with Purl Soho’s Line Weight, a 100% single ply merino wool, in Reed Gray. This is the perfect cardigan to reach for as we transition from winter to spring. The delicate details are a joy to knit, and add a modern touch to an otherwise timeless silhouette. Please share your progress on instagram with #solitudecardigan
