Pattern Notes

Single increases are worked on RS rows, this will either be a kfb increase on the edge or a yarn-over increase that forms part of the Wave Lace Pattern. There are a few exceptions to this increase structure:

In Chart A on Rows 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 and 33 the increase is worked as a yarn-over which forms part of the Wave Lace Pattern.

In Chart B on Rows 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 the increase is worked as a yarn-over which forms part of the Wave Lace Pattern.
In Chart B on Row 15 there is no increase

The shawl is finished with an Icelandic bind-off, for which it is essential that you use a larger needle and ensure you do not bind off too tightly. I recommend you use a 6mm / US 10 needle for this.
