Southwold in the Snow was inspired by a seaside trip in the winter with unexpected snow on the beach.

It’s a warm, wintery shawl to wrap around yourself on a winter’s evening. The various stitch patterns keep it an interesting knit and include Fancy Garter Ridge, Beach Hut stripe sections, Crest of the Wave, a Groynes section and a knitted shell edging.

The pattern contains written instructions in full.

You could use any 4 ply or DK yarn, but I would recommend using a rustic, woolly one for added warmth.
