After working on multiple space bear commissions and wearing one myself, I wanted to make one that was better fitted to the human face. The solution to this was chin shaping! The Space Bunny is seamlessly crochet except for some minimal sewing for the ear attachments. The large size is intended for folks with thick hair or larger than average heads (22+ inches). The pattern is written for the larger size with stopping points for other sizes.

Stitch Gauge:
14hdc X 12 rounds= 4 inches, the swatch is worked in the round and measured unwashed with a smaller hook.

Materials
340yd DK weight Merino Yarn, Hedgehog Merino DK in Hawk used for sample
2 balls of LB Collection Silk Mohair (optional, held with the DK merino)
2 Pipe cleaner and/or polyfill for ear structure
4mm and 5mm crochet hook, or two sized mm apart to obtain gauge.
