This is an EASY to follow pattern for an Advanced Beginning Knitter. It’s just knitting and purling with a color change here and there. The bottom is ribbed with decreases toward the top. You have a choice of knitting the hat on circular needles or knitting flat on straight needles. If you knit with straight needles you will sew the seam to close the hat. The pattern and accompanying photos along with our videos make the intimidating, easy.

An easy fitting hat with a bit of slouch. The contrast color in the pattern gives a speckle effect. A fun and quick pattern to knit! You have the choice of knitting the hat flat and then sewing up the seam or seamless on circular needles.
