January 2011 Errata - You need to decrease back down 1 stitch before you start the second picot edge.
This cowl was created when I needed something soothing to knit, just around and around in circles. Wool + silk added to the wonderful knitting experience and you know it had to have picot’s too!
It’s so easy to knit and uses only about 200 yds - this would look lovely in handspun too!
This cowl is designed with plenty of ease to allow you to fold and wrap it over with a button or shawl stick. If you’d prefer a tighter fit there are instructions in the pattern to help you adjust. It’s also designed to be worn tall, to cover your whole neck so you can burrow into it, if you’d prefer a shorter cowl simply shorten it by a inch or two - easy peasy! =)
