This is my first hat pattern in a series of Family Themed Hats, you can make a hat for everyone in the family, using the colors you desire. This pattern is a great pattern for people that want to try Tapestry Crochet in a different way. It has texture and it is a very simple pattern in my opinion. You do need to know FPdc stitch. It has floats and the floats give it a kind of Reversible look. You can make it as long as you want, and you can actually have a brim by flipping the end of the hat up. It takes 2 skeins for main color and one skein for contrasting color for a 24 inch round hat, with an 8 inch punti, (measure from the crown to your desired length)

This Pattern has two video supplements that will be linked to this pattern in the PDF. Video One and Video Two.

This pattern has been tested and proofread by volunteers. I am very grateful for their love for me and the craft. If you are going to substitute the yarn make sure you do a gauge test in pattern. Relax and enjoy the magic of the Spirals and Tangents Hat.
