It’s Springtime!

Spring Cloths are mini dishcloths sized around 5½”x5½” - 6”x6” Great for cleaning just about anything.

Extremely fast knit, they’re addictive and cute. Great for gifting or just to keep around the kitchen.

To get the best stitch definition out of your cloths I recommend using a smaller needle size. I also recommend blocking your cloth by soaking it in water for a few seconds and then gently squeezing out excess water until it is damp. Shape your cloth into a square and lay flat pushing down the stockinette stitches to dry.

I just love the great ideas that some of you are having with these an emailing me with. I think using a bigger needle lets say a US #6 or 7 and any worsted weight yarn that can be blocked would make a spectacular baby blanket. I might have to pick up some soft wool and try this myself. I know someone who’s expecting this summer and it would be perfect!
