Start a new tradition with this easy granny stitch tree skirt. I made it in non traditional colors for a change, but of course you could make it in any color combination you like. The yarn does all the color change work and it works up super quick with the easy stitch and bulky yarn. I wanted a little more shimmer and shine so I added the jeweled tassels, but that is totally optional.

The skirt is approximately 49” from point to point with a 7” diameter opening for the trunk.

I worked it in #5 bulky yarn but I’m sure it would work up well in worsted weigh yarn too, just be careful that the opening for the trunk isn’t too small!
