Starry Nite Scarf
I originally designed the scarf for my classes as a project for participants’ handspun color samples. It’s an assembled piece, great way to use up small amounts of yarns…stash reduction…one-offs, etc. I spun the yarn for this scarf from 6 different colorways of handpainted Blue Faced Leicester rovings, then plied the colorways to themselves or to other colorways. I used “Perennial Garden”, “Lounge Lizard”, “African Sunset with Storm”, “Black Hollyhocks”, “Cave at Hug Point”, and “Mediterranean”. All these colorways are available at Three Waters Farm. If you don’t see them, Mary Ann will take special orders.
