This simple, slipped stitch motif will add some ZING to your socks!

I designed this pattern to play with the lines of self-striping yarns through alternating colors every other round. The toe, heel, and ribbing are worked with 1 strand of yarn through out, and the foot and leg are worked alternating every other round with 2 strands of yarn. This pattern is toe-up and written for symmetrical left and right socks.

This sock pattern works well with self-striping yarn, self-striping and a solid, or 2 different solid/variegated colors of yarn, and is written to include many possible variations.

The pattern also includes the Spacious One-needle Mock Gusset heel, which closely mimics the traditional heel-flap and gusset heel, but is actually a short-row heel worked from the toe-up.

The pattern includes written and charted versions of the stitch pattern variations. The pattern has been both test knit in a multitude of sizes, and variations, and technically edited.
