Multi-season stockinette cardigan with short dolman sleeves, zigzag vine lace front panels, and ribbed trim.
Cast on provisionally at the shoulders, Stolitsa is worked seamlessly from the top down, with cuffs and front edging/collar picked up and knit in rib.

Techniques Used: provisional CO, short rows, increasing, simple lace, grafting, picking up stitches.

Experience Level: Intermediate. Vine lace pattern is charted; photo tutorial included for buttonholes, with video tutorial link provided.

Materials: 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 7) skeins of Malabrigo Twist.
US 10 40” needles or size to match gauge.
US 9 40” needles.
An extra cable is helpful to hold back st while front is worked.
Yarn needle.
Stitch markers (4).
7/8” Buttons (6).
Waste yarn for provisional CO, and stitch holder.
