The Summer Solstice Tea Cosy is a tea cosy with an impression of Stonehenge perched on the top. A lovely momento for people who have visited the prehistoric stones or a little appetizer for people who haven’t yet visited the iconic henge.

The tea cosy has a bit of colour work at the bottom to create a meadow like border. If you’re not confident knitting in colour you could Swiss darn the flowers on afterwards.

The henge has a few knitted stones that are sewn in place to make the archways and doorways. It’s very simple, with little fuss.

The floral part of the main tea cosy is knitted with a short intarsia knitting chart of 8 rows. If you don’t feel confident with intarsia, you could swiss darn the flowers on or sew on flower shaped buttons.

The Stonehenge Summer Solstice tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!

This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Summer Solstice tea cosy.
