This stranded kimono jacket was designed for the #10134 Country Classic 4Ply brochure for Sirdar. The deep dolman 3/4 -sleeved garment is knit in pieces, seamed together, and the wide bands of ribbing are added around the fronts and sleeve cuffs. Note: The colourwork fair isle pattern is provided in chart form only.


TENSION and NEEDLES

  • 28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch AND
  • 32 sts and 32 rows to 10cm, (4in) over fair isle pattern on 3.25mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
    Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
