Wrap yourself in a warm hug with this lovely shoulder cozy.

After knitting the first sample for Yarns Ewe’ll Love, many requests came in to write this down and publish it. With the sample being at the store, well, you know what the memory does, I embarked on knitting another sample.

The second sample was knit with IONA Bunny from Fleece & Harmony. Part bunny, Part wool, 100% heaven. My memory had forgotten the details of the first sample (and my swatch was a riot of experimentation) so the second sample is the one the pattern is based on. See if you can spot the differences.

You will start working flat, with a mix of garter ridges then add an eyelet round to increase the stitches. Then you join in the round and create garter stitch by knitting one round, purling one round. Adding a dash of lace, kicks up the romance in this piece.

Around the lower edge, lace rib is generous so you can move your arms as you gesture and reach out to hug the one you love.
