Gingham blankets and bowls of strawberries and cream. Tea sandwiches and glasses of lemonade. Flowing dresses, peddle pushers and cuffed blue jeans. These adorable Strawberry Picnic socks are perfect for all of your berry picking summer adventures!

Needles:
40” circs US size 0 - 2 depending gauge. I like to work the cuff one size down from needle I use for sock body.

Yarn:
Fingering weight sock yarn of your fiber choice. I suggest a wool, nylon blend for durability.

You will need four colors, I suggest high contrast colors so your designs pop. If you want your color work to pop more make sure to use solid yarns.

Yardage will depend on foot size. I have small feet and one ball of each shade is enough for me for height shown. If you have larger feet you may need 2 balls of the main color yarn. Follow the yardage requirements typically needed to knit socks in your foot size.

Gauge:
Roughly 16 stitches to 2 inches wide and 22 rows to 2 inches high.

Notions:
4 to 6 stitch markers, or scrap yarn, to mark center of heels and to mark ankle charts.
Crochet hook in small size or tapestry needle to work in ends.

Sizes:
Women’s XS, S, M and L with instructions to make smaller or larger.

The photos in this pattern show a size S with XS heel.
