This lightweight wool hat, comes in two versions: the Ribby Stripes Hat is ribbed all the way to the crown for a close fit; the Slouchy Stripes Hat is ribbed for a close fit around the ears, then worked in looser stockinette stitch for a slouchy fit on top. Both hats are knit in the round and decreased at the top with double-pointed needles (or may be worked with the magic loop method if preferred).

Two size options are available which fit most adult heads from 19” to 24”.

You will need two colors of yarn; we prefer Thirteen Mile Organic Wool in the worsted weight.

This pattern is easy and is suitable for beginning knitters.

Enjoy!
