A lovely cheery stripy blanket inspired by one I saw in a shop.

Suitable for a boy or a girl. A nice easy knit that still looks impressive. Would also look lovely in blues or pinks for a more gender specific colour scheme.
I used Scheepjes Catona cotton which is lovely and glossy, comes in lots of colours and washes really well.
Tension is unimportant in the pattern and you could easily use your preferred choice of double knit yarn and suitable needles if you wished. I like Stylecraft SpecialDK as it comes in so many colours.
