If you’re like me, warmer weather translates into less time spent knitting and more time outdoors with my little girls. I love quick knit projects when I don’t have much time.

I also love transitional, layering knits during the spring and fall months. By using an aran weight yarn on large needles, the fabric stays light and full of drape, but still keeps that spring and fall chill off the core. Knit in a cotton, this makes a wonderful pullover for summer nights by the lake or out by the campfire.
Pattern includes notes for sleeveless (shown in grey), or 3/4 length sleeves (shown in red). Hood can be made shorter for a less functional, more decorative look, or omitted all together.
