Materials:

For bag:
•worsted weight yarn (approx. 550gr or 780yards). You can make it with strong cotton yarn, but I would suggest you to look for linen blend yarn, it is much more resistant.
•crochet hook 3.5mm (E) or size needed to obtain gauge
•2 bag handles (though you can make your own bag handles and at the end of the pattern I explain how, I suggest you to buy the ones already made to obtain real chic look!) I bought mine here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/105950360/1-pair-20-inch-lin...

•tapestry needle
•stitch marker (optional, you can use contrasting colour yarn as well)

For lining (though you can make it unlined as well):

Please note – I am not a seamstress, and in instructions how to line the bag I simply show how I did it. Probably there is a better or more correct way.

•fabric (I used cotton fabric, and for my bag I needed 35cm wide x 100cm long piece, plus small piece for a pocket; but your bag can turn smaller or bigger, so it is always better to purchase the fabric with some reserve, or you can purchase it after the bag is finished and you can take measurements)
