The Gnome uses a 5 mm hook and bulky weight yarn. When using the recommended hook size, yarn and yarn under (x stitch), it measures 5 inches/12.7 centimeters. 

Some of the skills used in this pattern are chain, single crochet, increase, decrease and finish off. The pattern includes complete assembly details with pictures.
