Sunflower Applique
by Shai De
A simple tutorial I made on how to make sunflowers. I included a photo tutorial for the step by step instructions, a written pattern and a crochet diagram with 300 dpi quality.
I used US terminology.
Ina making this flower, gauge is not really important, you can make roses of different sizes by using different kinds of yarns, in this tutorial I used a cotton thread with a 1.75 mm hook, if you want the stitches to be tighter you can use a smaller hook.
I used Monaco mercerized cotton thread, which is a famous crochet thread in the Philippines, this thread is similar to Aunt Lydia’s No. 10 and #3.
