Sunny Skies ripple stitch coffee or tea cup cozy. This cozy has a fun rippling pattern in two shades of sky blue with fluffy white clouds, and features a smiling sun in cool sunglasses! Sun applique is made separately and can be used for other projects as well. Cozies help keep your coffee or tea hot, cold drinks cold, and your hands from getting too hot or cold! Cozies even help prevent and absorb condensation when used with cold beverages!

SIZE: This is designed to fit the average disposable, reusable or ceramic coffee/tea cup that measures about 10-11 inches where the top of the band goes, about 9-10 inches where the bottom of the band is, and is quite stretchy. The band measures about 3 high, but can be made taller if desired.

Materials:
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in blue and white for cozy and yellow for sun. I used 2 different shades of blue for the cozy: Red Heart Soft Baby Steps BABY BLUE and DEEP SKY. I also used 2 different shades of yellow for the sun to create a paler to brighter effect. Yarn used in photos is: Red Heart Super Saver PALE YELLOW and Lemon.
• Size H/5mm, I/5.5mm, and F/3.75mm Crochet Hooks
• Stitch Marker to mark beginning st of a round, and tapestry needle.

Stitches and Techniques Used in this Pattern:
