Sunset Filigree is a lace-motif cape. Using join-as-you-go construction, the cape builds from a split-neck down to a notched edge. The neckline is finished with a slip-stitch and picot border; the bottom edge is defined with a tidy slip-stitch.

Square motifs are constructed with slip-stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and puff stitches. Written patterns for triangle motifs, side neck inserts, and buttons are also included.
