Ever since I was really little snakes have been my favorite critters, and when I started crocheting I realized a snake would make a perfect scarf.
I wanted one, and I couldn’t find any I liked in books,
(this was before Ravelry) so I designed this one!

This scarf is simple, fast to make and it only takes one ball of yarn!
The short rows of double crochet make a cute blotchy pattern if you’re using a yarn with short color repeats like I did. It would also look stunning in a gradual color shifting yarn.

Add eyes and a tongue for a fun scarf or leave them off for a less obvious look.

This pattern has not been tested, so if you find any thing that’s unclear, misspelled, or confusing, feel free to PM me.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s wonderful projects.
