Simple, comforting stitches paired with chic stripes – what’s not to love? Surrender is a shawl that’s perfect for knit nights and tv marathons. Or those moments when you crave the familiar comfort of knitting but don’t want to think too much.

First, you knit the central garter stitch panel and then pick up stitches all around it, to work the lace border in the round. Yes, the rounds are long, but it’s all easy knitting. You won’t lose your place even if you stop mid-round. So, go ahead, surrender to the stitches flowing on your needles!
