The Swan Lake pattern contains two variants: Swan Lake and the symmetrical The Wings of A Dream. This pattern was originally released on the Mystery Group 3 Yahoo Group, from late June to mid-August 2007. The group Mystery Stole 3 was created on Ravelry for the knit-along.

Instructions are given for blocking the lace swatch and determining if the gauge is acceptable. The stockinette and YOs should be distinct from 3 feet away after blocking. Exact stitches / rows per inch are not provided.

Optional accessories: 8/0 seed beads. 1 ounce (28 g) should be more than enough. Model uses color #111 beads (Crystal Rainbow) from Beadwrangler.
