These booties are part of the Swan Lake set.

My grandmother from my Russian side, Yevgenia, had knitted me a lot of garments since I was born and although most of them were lost when we moved houses, there are some that I loved so much that makes it impossible to forget them. One of them was a ballerina like romper along with an accompanying shrug and headband. I have created the Swan Lake set to her loving memory. I named these designs “Swan Lake” since my grandmother loved Tchaikovsky and played his compositions a lot, and the Swan Lake in particular has been connected in my mind to her since I was a toddler.

Items needed:

45-50 meters dk yarn (I used Drops Lima, 65% wool, 35% alpaca)

Tapestry needle
2 small buttons

Finished Size: one size fits most babies up to 9 months old – you can go up on needle size for larger result

Abbreviations:
