Swell Leg Warmers
The Swell Leg Warmers are a very versatile pattern that can easily be made any length (above knee or below) and any width to fit any size leg. Any type of yarn can be used. However, this pattern is best suited for lighter weight yarns, so worsted weight or lighter will be best. I personally prefer making them with sock yarn. There is an option to add ribbon around the top or to do a solid edge with no ribbon. I also show how to add elastic thread to the top in case they don’t stay up well enough on their own.
Supplies: Any yarn (yardage will vary depending on weight of yarn and the size you’re making), A hook size that allows you to crochet somewhat loosely with your chosen yarn, Ribbon (optional), Elastic Thread (optional)
Size: Can be made any size
Difficulty Level: Advanced beginner
Stitches & Techniques used: single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet. This pattern uses only basic crochet stitches.
