Here is the English version of the Swingy Julekuler - The photo tutorial shows exactly how to make 10 different ornaments in Swing-Knitting™.

If you have done Swing-Knitting™ Workshops 1 and 2 or the Swing-Knitting Taster Class, you will have no difficulty swing-knitting these Julekulers - they are a fast and easy project and a nice way to use up a lot of scrap yarn.

The instructions are for three different yarn weights (sock/fingering, sports/DK and Worsted Weight) and three different ball sizes: 6 cm,10 cm and 20 cm. For each size and yarn there are several Julekuler with a different number of swing-knitted™ stanzas - makes 10 different ornaments.

The pattern is available in German and English.

And now have fun “kulering” :)!

09.11.2015:
I have added two more balls to the pattern, knitted with worsted weight yarn and needle size US8 around a 8” styrofoam ball.
This makes a lovely home decoration for Christmas, esp. if you add a thin sequin yarn to the yarns.
If you use a softball as filling, it will make a colorfull knitted play ball, a wonderful present for a toddler!
