When you want something that really keeps your attention, sometimes a little colorwork cowl is just the right project! This one highlights the beautiful Urbanite colorway in Pepperberry Knit’s Fun Size Mini Skein Sport Bundle. An ever-changing swirly, curly design against solid blocks of background color, it’s a great pattern to feature your favorite mini skins bundle or light-weight stash scraps!

The colorwork design is shown as a chart, but other instructions (how to cast on, when to change colors, how to finish) are all in a written format.

Techniques Used:
• Knitting flat
• Working from a colorwork chart
• Working with 2 colors during the same row
• Provisional Cast-on (video link included)
• Kitchener Stitch (video link included)
• I-cord (optional)

The Yarn:
One Mini Skein Fun Size Sport-weight Bundle from Pepperberry Knits • 8 skeins • 45 yds each • 10 g each • 100% Cashmere

Other Materials:
• US Size 4 / 3.5mm circular needle
• Size E / 3.5mm crochet hook & scrap yarn (for provisional cast on)
• Yarn Needle

In the photos, the sample cowl that does not have the i-cord edging was made completely from the Pepperberry Knits mini skiens. But there was so much left over that I was able to knit a second sample (the one in the photos that does have the optional i-cord trim). The second cowl was made from Pepperberry Knits yarn as well as some Sweet Georgia CashLuxe fine, which were leftovers from my Sweet Strokes legwarmers.
