One part of a fast and easy two piece set, this pattern is completely reversible- the outside is identical to the inside. It uses just knit and purl stitches, but every 6 rows there is a cable crossing to liven it up.

The stitch pattern is both charted and written so that you can use whichever method is easier for you.

If you have 200 grams of yarn to work with, you have plenty to make both pieces of the set. I recommend starting with the hat first so you can use the leftover yarn to deepen the cowl.

You can alter the dimensions of the cowl slightly by increasing or decreasing needle sizes. You can alter it in 4” increments by adding or subtracting a pattern repeat.
