Easy-and-fast-to-knit basic fingerless mittens pattern.
Can be knit from 4-ply sock yarn leftovers.

The pattern is the result of the birthday present-knit for a friend of mine.
She loved them immediately and couldn’t put them away.
And I named them after her :-)

When I met her around christmas she complained about the cold steering wheel. So the idea was born back then…
However, she’ll probably will not need them before Sept./Nov. 2011. But they will really keep her warm, because they are made from soft leftover sock yarn.
You will need about 35 g (65-70 g in total) of sock yarn in two colours. I took one plain colour (light blue) and one self-striping colour.

The pattern is ready for download.
The cast-on stitches have to be divided equally on four needles.
I updated the pattern. It should now be clear.

Enjoy yourself and happy knitting!
