Worked from the cuff-­up with integrated thumbs, the TANGENT mitts play with the idea of angles and curves. Columns emerge from the twisted rib and curve around the thumb before being folded back into the top rib. Meanwhile the back of the hand is worked on the bias to the rest of the mitt.
TANGENT is knitted in a light DK/sport-­weight yarn showcasing unusual fabric movement in the smooth stocking stitch. The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters.
