A wonderful use for a single skein of 100 grams of dk weight yarn! Elongated stitches attractively criss-cross in this simple knit pattern. Use buttons to attach the beginning and end to form a cowl

Measurements
Size: 6 ½” wide x 45” long after blocking

Materials:
225 yards of DK weight yarn.
We used Cape May Fiber DK Merino (231 yards (206 m) /100 Grams / 3.5 oz, 100% Superwash Merino Wool)
1 skein Color Queen Victoria (light pink / swirls of green, speckles of orange, fuchsia and navy)

  • US Size 7 (4.5 mm) straight knitting needle
  • 4 buttons (optional) ¾” - 1 ½” in diameter
  • sewing needle and matching thread and scissors

Gauge
20 sts, 40 rows= 4” in garter stitch (knit every row) after blocking.
