This exquisite lace shawl has classic Faroese shawl shaping: from the center gusset to the shoulder shaping in the side panels. It is triangular in shape but the strategically placed extra stitches allows it to rest on the shoulders easily. This project is knit from the top down with a seamless selvedge border, and finished with a delicate picot bind off. The variations of feather and fan stitch are blended beautifully from the center gusset to the edging.
