Tau: the pattern
Tau makes his debut straight from the Sahara! Another chubby little dumpling in my fastest growing collection, he brings 2 styles in 1 pattern. You can make Tau the lion cub, or add the mane for Tau the grown-up lion!
This sweet little dumpling is the fourth pattern from the “ASK & RECEIVE” promo. Haven’t seen it yet? Well the contest is over but you can go to my blog for the details and congratulate all the winners! dawntoussaint.blogspot.com
Tau is a 6 inch lion. He’s crocheted together (not seamed) for extra durability(except his ears).
This pattern has 11 pages full of all the info an experienced crocheter would need to make this little treasure; including technique descriptions, illustrations, and photos. I would rate this as “beginner” , and requires only minimal embroidery skills.
Suggested materials: wool and wool blend yarn (worsted weight, at least 2 colors, ~150(color A) & ~50 yds(color B)), polyester or natural filling, 12-14 mm glass or plastic safety eyes, cotton fabric and felt.
