A colorful summer project for just few hours. This teapot coaster with leaves was crocheted in Overlay Crochet technique. This technique is usually addressed to advanced crocheters but I personally think that advanced beginners can also master it with minor problems.

Pattern is written for one size, it has 8 pages containing written instructions and lots of pictures describing the most tricky and hard rounds. There is also stitch guide included explaining how every stitch should be made. The size of finished coaster depends on the yarn and hook you use.

Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern), though an “adventurous” beginner can handle it!

Materials: Leftovers of yarn in five colors, crochet hook 3 mm (US 3) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge, scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends.

There are two copies of the pattern offered to download: one is very detailed with many pictures, and second copy is printer friendly (with written instructions only and no pictures).
