Do you remember having that soft, squishy, lovable teddy bear when you were young? How about creating your own, vintage style teddy bear?!

Teddy Love was created using a teddy bear that I received as a baby, more than 65 years ago. I styled the bear a little differently, but used my old bear as the model for the ears, arms and feet of this crocheted version.

I used Caron’s Simply Soft in three different colors for Teddy Love, and the pattern has many pictures of differing ways I used the colors for three different bears.

Anyone with crochet skills from advanced beginner on will be able to handle this pattern. I have tried to be very precise with my directions, not taking the crocheter’s skill level for granted.

This bear would make an amazing baby gift, birthday gift or Holiday present for someone you love, or even yourself if you want/need something to cuddle!
